"When should I take golf lessons?"

You should take golf lessons when you’ve decided to improve at golf. If you are a beginner, lessons will help you learn the fundamentals before you develop bad habits. If you are an experienced golfer, lessons are a great way to take your game to the next level. Everyone learns differently, but golf lessons are designed to teach you the skills of the game and how to enhance your abilities. Let’s take a look at some of the things that you would learn by taking a golf lesson.

Golf Lessons can help you:

• Improve your swing: You will learn to make better contact with the ball and hit the ball further and straighter.
• Play better on the greens: You will learn skills for playing better on and around the greens so that you can get your strokes down.

Private Lessons: These are typically one-on-one lessons that focus on what you need to learn.

Over the past 20 years at Reedsburg Country Club as PGA Head Professional, Bob’s passion has been to foster a love of the sport among members, juniors, and guests and to help them improve their golf game. He has attended numerous national and local PGA teaching seminars in his continuous ambition to improve his golf teaching skills.

In 2017, Bob was awarded the PGA Youth Player Development Award for the state of Wisconsin. This award is given to one Wisconsin PGA professional deemed a junior golf leader and reflects the ideals of those working with youth players.

Jason Diekfuss has been the RCC Assistant Professional for the past nine years and has given numerous lessons. Jason is working to become a PGA Professional.
